Sugar Cookies

This is my great grandmother Bardella's recipe:

2 cup Sugar
1 cup Shortening
1 cup Half & Half
2 Eggs
2 TSP Baking Powder
1/4 TSP Salt
2-3 cups of Flour (enough to make soft dough)
1 box Raisins

Mix all ingredients together until it makes a dough. Roll out, cut in round shape. Put sugar on top. Top each cookie with a raisin. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
