White Cake

This is my great grandmother Bardella's recipe:

1/2 cup Shortening
1 1/3 cups Sugar
2 1/4 cups Flour
3 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1 cup Milk
1 tsp Flavoring
3 Egg Whites

Mix all ingredients and pour into 9 by 12 greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25- 30 minutes.
